This intense hands-on Roco course includes extensive field exercises in a live trench environment. It is designed to develop the knowledge, technical skills and practical experience necessary for rescuers to conduct emergency trench rescue operations. The course provides real-world experience to prepare responders for the inherent hazards of trench and excavation emergencies. Emphasis is given to rescuer safety and problem solving during various trench rescue scenarios involving injured or entrapped persons. Roco’s Trench Rescue Technician course meets Competent Person requirements for OSHA 1926 Subpart P as well as the Trench Rescue Technician job performance requirements of NFPA 1006, Standard for Rescue Technician Professional Qualifications Chapter 12. This certification is valid for two years.
