The SMC ANSI FP (Fall Protection) Lite Alloy Carabiner is a great choice for both industrial work and rescue. It combines great strength-to-weight ratio and extraordinary reliability. Part of SMC’s highly-regarded Lite Steel Series, it features a stainless steel gate and locking sleeve for superior action and strength where it matters most.

Other key features include a 1 inch gate openings, key lock, and dual action auto locking gates. The exceptionally high gate break strength and total MBS demonstrate that this carabiner is virtually indestructible.

A captive eye pin is available as an add-on option. All the parts are carefully hand-finished after manufacture giving each carabiner a smooth and free gate action.

As the name implies, it is compliant with the new ANSI Z359.12.2009 edition standards.
