Certification to NFPA 1006 Confined Space & Rope

This is a physically demanding course and includes rope ascension.

Fast-Track 120™ is Roco Rescue’s ultimate rope rescue experience. This program is designed to produce a more well-rounded rescuer who is capable of safely and effectively responding to a wide variety of confined space and rope rescue incidents. The course begins with core skills for confined space and rope rescue and concludes with testing to individual performance skills requirements listed in NFPA 1006 and 1670 for Confined Space and Rope Technician Level. This certification testing to a national consensus standard (such as NFPA) is an excellent means of documenting individual skills proficiency in accordance with OSHA 1910.146.

This accelerated 120-hour program will quickly advance students to more complex confined space and technical rope rescue operations. Response capabilities will be enhanced by extensive hands-on teaching stations and realistic problem-solving exercises, including on-air, simulated IDLH scenarios. Rope ascension, high-line systems, and knot passing will also be included. Roco Rescue’s certification testing includes individual skills proficiency, scenario-based performance evaluation and a written exam. This certification is valid for two years and can be renewed by successfully completing our Recertification program.

NOTE: Fast-Track 120™ completes the individual performance skills requirements listed in NFPA 1006 & 1670 (Confined Space & Rope Rescue Technician Level).
